Major Corridors Urban Design Plan Support Service

The City of Mansfield, Texas, is seeking a vendor to prepare a major corridors urban design plan that establishes a unified, implementable design system for the agency's primary roadway corridors. The agency needs to address the aesthetic and functional consistency of its main transportation routes through a comprehensive design framework. The project covers ten specific areas of work, including project initiation and corridor identification, an existing conditions and urban design audit, and the creation of an urban design framework and identity system. The scope of work also requires the development of streetscape and public realm design standards, a materials and kit-of-parts design system, and a wayfinding and signage system. Additionally, the selected vendor must address intersection and crosswalk enhancements, formulate an implementation strategy and governance plan, conduct public and stakeholder engagement, and produce graphics, visualization, and document designs. The agency requires all performance of the work to be conducted onsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this initiative. Interested parties must submit all questions no later than July 15, 2026. The agency will hold an optional pre-bid meeting on July 8, 2026, to discuss the project requirements.
