Armed Security Guard and Patrol Services

The Rancho California Water District in Temecula, California is seeking armed security guard and patrol services to protect agency facilities, buildings, grounds, parking lots, rights-of-way, employees, visitors, and other assets. The agency needs to solve the problem of securing its properties and assets through access control, facility patrols, parking lot security, incident response, emergency response, and the observation and reporting of suspicious activity. The scope of work requires one armed security guard assigned to the Headquarters facility Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excluding District-observed holidays. This guard must provide a visible security presence, assist with visitor access and customer service, monitor agency facilities and grounds, conduct periodic foot patrols, and report security-related concerns. Additionally, the scope requires two armed security guards and one contractor-furnished marked four-wheel drive patrol vehicle to patrol agency facilities, properties, and designated areas on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and District-observed holidays from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. These patrol personnel must conduct vehicle and periodic foot patrols of facilities, buildings, parking areas, gates, rights-of-way, and designated inspection points, while also responding to incidents and assisting District personnel. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. All performance of the work must take place onsite at the designated locations in Temecula, California.
