Security Screening System

The District of Columbia government authority is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive security screening system for its designated campuses in Washington, DC. The agency requires this system to secure entry and exit points, manage student arrival and dismissal flows, facilitate visitor entry procedures, and support emergency egress. The selected vendor must ensure all equipment placements and installation plans accommodate ADA accessibility, power and network availability, flooring, weather exposure, and queue management. Before finalizing any equipment placement, installation requirements, or implementation schedules, the vendor must conduct a mandatory site survey at each designated campus. The scope of work requires the delivery of new, commercial-grade equipment suitable for school security screening operations. Specifically, the agency is requesting seven X-ray inspection systems for baggage and parcel screening, seven walk-through metal detectors with multi-zone detection capability, and thirty handheld metal detectors for secondary screening. The procurement also covers all required cables, power supplies, accessories, batteries, chargers, signage, manuals, software, and mounting hardware. Only onshore United States organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The selected vendor must perform all installation and implementation work onsite at the designated Washington, DC campuses.
