Hauling, Storing and Disposal Services

The City of Georgetown, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide hauling, storing, and disposal services for dewatered biosolids from its water and wastewater facilities. The agency requires the transport of these biosolids to a designated government authority for final disposal. To solve this waste management need, the agency requires the selected provider to supply environmentally and regulatory acceptable storage and transport containers to be placed on City facilities for filling by City staff. The scope of work covers picking up dewatered biosolids in roll-off containers from various facilities, including lift stations. The selected provider must perform all handling and transportation of sludge and biosolids using standard methods and practices. All operations must comply fully with all applicable environmental and safety laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations. The agency requires that the performance of the work take place offsite, with the vendor carrying out the work at their own office premises. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than July 17, 2026.
