Custodial Services

The agency is seeking custodial services for the Fall River Government Center, Police Station, Fire Department Headquarters, and Fall River Public Library. The initial contract period is one year, with options for two additional one-year periods. The services include trash removal, vacuuming of offices and carpeted areas weekly or as needed, sweeping or electrostatic dry mopping of hard floor areas and stairwells weekly or as needed, and wet mopping of hard floor areas daily with stairwells mopped weekly on Fridays. Additional tasks involve cleaning drinking fountains as needed, cleaning glass areas weekly or as needed, cleaning and disinfecting all bathrooms daily, cleaning kitchen/break areas/conference and training rooms as applicable, dusting open areas as needed, maintaining the custodial storage area, and disinfecting all touch points daily. Intake and air distribution vents require vacuuming monthly or as needed. Eligibility for bidding is restricted to onshore organizations within the USA. The performance of the work will be conducted onsite at the specified locations. The agency is seeking proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget. The solicitation packages will be available electronically via email from [email protected] starting Monday, July 6th, 2026. Questions concerning the bid must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected] by noon on Friday, July 24th, 2026. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 30th, 2026, and must be submitted to the Office of the Purchasing Agent, One Government Center, Room 324, Fall River, MA 02722. A non-mandatory walkthrough is scheduled for July 15th, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at 1 Government Center, Fall River, MA, and continuing to other locations. The awarding authority intends to award a contract within thirty working days of the bid opening.
