Pilot Deconstruction Program Service

The Pittsburgh Housing Development Corporation (PHDC) is seeking proposals for a pilot deconstruction program service. The agency requires the safe deconstruction and removal of a single-family residential structure and associated site improvements located at 247 Kennedy Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15214. This project aims to fully deconstruct the structure and stabilize the resulting empty lot for future use, with a focus on salvaging materials for reuse. The scope of work includes environmental testing, hazardous material remediation, utility disconnections, structural deconstruction, debris removal, and lot restoration through backfilling and grading. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and supervision necessary for completion. Salvageable materials must be in good condition for reuse, with specific criteria provided for doors and windows. Eligibility for this opportunity is limited to onshore (USA only) entities.
