Medicare Set Aside Services

The agency is seeking comprehensive Medicare Set Aside (MSA) allocation services for workers' compensation claims. The project covers case review, communication with claimants and attorneys, medical and pharmaceutical cost projection, rated age calculation, and preparation of MSA documents. Services will include seed money calculations for structured settlements when applicable. Standard MSA services apply to claims meeting review thresholds with non-catastrophic injuries and expected future medical exposure. Zero or Limited MSA services are for claims where an allocation is not warranted, or the claimant had two or fewer causally related medical treatments in the last 12 months with zero prescription allocation. Catastrophic or complex MSA services may apply to claims involving severe injuries. The contract period will be for five years. Eligibility requires bidders to be an onshore USA organization only. Performance of the work will be offsite. The agency is looking for proposals.
