Wildland Firefighter Crews Emergency Services

The agency is seeking emergency services for wildland firefighter crews. This need stems from the agency's responsibility for wildfire prevention and suppression, forest management, reforestation, pest and disease management, urban forestry support, and public education programs across nearly 14 million acres of privately owned forestland. The project covers providing these services onsite in Asheville, NC. The scope of work includes providing wildland firefighter crews for emergency services. Optional work may involve hazardous fuels management activities such as reduction, prescribed fire application, brush removal, and land rehabilitation.
