Collection and Marketing of Recyclable Materials Service

The Township of Cranford is seeking proposals for a three-year contract to provide collection and marketing of recyclable materials. This service will include collecting and removing certain recyclable materials from the curbside of residential units and from centralized areas within public buildings. The performance of this work will be conducted onsite within Cranford, New Jersey. Bidders must be a USA Organization only. Proposals must be submitted as one original, one hard copy, and one digital copy on a USB stick or thumb drive. Bids must be enclosed in opaque, sealed envelopes clearly marked with the service name and the bidder's name and address. A Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the highest aggregate three-year bid submitted, not to exceed $20,000, is required. This bond must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond. A Non-Collusion Affidavit must also be submitted with the proposal. Sealed bids will be received by the Township Clerk at 8 Springfield Avenue, Cranford, NJ 07016, on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Submission packages may be obtained starting Thursday, July 9, 2026, from the Township Clerk's Office or by downloading from the Township's website at https://www.cranfordnj.org/bids, which requires registration. The Township reserves the right to waive minor defects and reject or accept any bids deemed in its best interest.
