Medical and Psychological Consultants Services

The agency is seeking medical and psychological consultant services for a government authority located in Delaware. The primary problem to solve involves evaluating casework to make disability decisions. The scope of work includes assessing medical, psychological, and lay evidence in electronic or hard copy formats. Consultants will determine evidence adequacy, make telephone calls for information, and assess the severity of impairments and their impact on functional capacities. This involves applying Social Security Rulings regarding claimant credibility, symptoms, and medical/psychological source opinions. Consultants will also evaluate requests for consultative examinations to ensure their necessity and effectiveness in addressing case issues. They will assess medical/psychological inquiries and provide recommendations for improving evidence acquisition through enhancements to letters, forms, and communication methods. The work also covers evaluating consultative exam provider reports for quality and completeness, and conducting quality reviews of determinations to ensure integrity based on medical evidence. Bidders must be a USA Organization Only. Performance of the work will be offsite. The agency is looking for proposals and all questions must be submitted no later than July 23, 2026.
