Chief Medical Consultant Services

The agency is seeking chief medical consultant services for a government authority located in Delaware. The objective is to assess casework, evaluate medical and lay evidence, and determine the adequacy of information for disability decisions. The consultant will also evaluate requests for consultative examinations to ensure their necessity and effectiveness in addressing case issues. The scope of work includes assessing the severity of impairments and the impact of specific Social Security Rulings on functional capacities. The consultant will act as the signatory on necessary medical documents for various laboratory tests and evaluations. If a case cannot be completed, the consultant must email the adjudicator, adjudicator's supervisor, and the case control administrator. Bidders must be an onshore organization located only within the USA. The performance of the work will be conducted offsite. The agency is looking for proposals. All questions must be submitted no later than July 23, 2026.
