The Municipal Airport Authority of the City of Fargo is seeking legal services. The agency requires general counsel services for matters including aviation law, regulatory compliance, contract review, litigation, labor and employment law, and general municipal governance. This includes advising on federal aviation law and FAA regulations, reviewing and drafting contracts and leases, and representing the Authority in proceedings. The scope of work also encompasses advising on employment and labor matters, including union negotiations, and participating in monthly and special board meetings. The agency needs guidance on compliance with North Dakota Open Meetings and Open Records laws, legal research, and the issuance of formal and informal legal opinions. Additionally, the Authority requires monitoring and advice on legislation and legal developments impacting its operations. Eligibility for this opportunity is restricted to onshore organizations within the USA. The performance of the work will be conducted offsite. The contract period is anticipated to be for five years, commencing January 1, 2027. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted no later than August 5, 2026. The submission deadline for proposals is September 9, 2026, by 11:00 AM. The agency is looking for proposals to fulfill these legal service needs.
