Janitorial Services

The agency is seeking janitorial services for the Bothell MERS facility, an approximately 12,000 square foot building. The primary objective is to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment for the 47 personnel who work there. This includes daily tasks such as trash removal, surface cleaning, restroom maintenance, and floor cleaning. The scope of work encompasses a detailed list of tasks broken down by area and frequency, including daily, weekly, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, and semi-annual requirements. Specific tasks include vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning drinking fountains, washing glass, cleaning sinks, dusting furniture, emptying wastebaskets, removing spots from floors, cleaning walls and doors, and arranging furniture. Restroom cleaning involves disinfecting floors, walls, and fixtures, as well as restocking supplies. Semi-annual tasks include professional carpet cleaning and floor stripping and polishing in certain areas. Performance of the work will be onsite, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with daily work completed no later than 12:00 PM. The facility will be closed to janitorial services on Federal Holidays. Bidders must be a USA Organization only. The agency is looking for proposals, and while a specific budget has not been disclosed, the contract period will be for one year. Payment will be made monthly upon invoice submission, provided services are rendered in accordance with the contract. There are no option years on this contract. Proposals are due by August 4, 2026, at 5:00 PM EDT. Contractor personnel will undergo a Tier 1 investigation with a credit check and must receive a favorable adjudication from FEMA PSD before performing work.
