Telemedicine Services

The agency is seeking telemedicine services to support a pilot program in selected state-operated group homes. The project aims to promote the health, wellness, and safety of individuals receiving adult long-term residential services. The services will provide urgent medical assessments when primary care clinicians are unavailable, potentially avoiding emergency department visits. The scope of work includes providing telemedicine for urgent medical matters and offering disability-specific guidance on when to seek additional or in-person medical treatment. The provider must coordinate care with local emergency departments, urgent care facilities, primary care physicians, and other healthcare providers, facilitating real-time medical support. This coordination may involve direct communication, follow-up on treatment recommendations, medication changes, discharge planning, and escalation of concerns to ensure continuity of care. Eligibility for this opportunity is limited to onshore organizations located within the USA. Performance of the work will be conducted offsite. The contract period will be for one year. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted no later than August 11, 2026. The agency is looking for proposals, and bidders must submit a Supplier Diversity Program (SDP) Plan Form as an Excel file. This form requires bidders to outline their commitment to spending a percentage of contract sales with certified diverse businesses, with a minimum total SDP commitment of 1%. Bidders must also name proposed certified diverse businesses (SDP Partners) they intend to utilize. The evaluation of proposals will consider the SDP commitment. The agency requires adherence to various state and federal statutes, regulations, manuals, policies, and procedures, including those related to HIPAA, the Fair Information Practices Act, and Department of Developmental Services (DDS) specific requirements. A Business Associate Agreement will be required, outlining terms to protect the privacy and security of Personal Data and Protected Health Information.
