Shooting Range Ambient Sound Study Service

The government authority in Georgetown, CO, requires a shooting range ambient sound study service. The selected vendor will conduct sound testing and measurements of noise levels around a local public shooting range. The service includes replicating the testing program and protocol from a 2019 study, performing testing at seven sites for 10 days across various weather conditions and times of day, and during a special event and a no-shooting activity. Testing will be announced in advance and will measure decibels with familiar noise comparisons for public understanding. The vendor must also explain the measurement process and technology used.
