The government authority in Laurens, SC requires professional engineering water resources consulting services to perform a safe yield evaluation, bathymetric survey, and water supply assessment. The buyer seeks support for utility planning, capital improvements, drought planning, permitting, operational decision-making, and future water resource development. The selected consultant must determine the long-term sustainable safe yield using at least two professionally accepted methodologies. Additional requested scope includes comprehensive engineering, hydrologic, hydraulic, and water resources services; hydrologic and water balance model development, calibration, validation, and sensitivity analysis; future planning recommendations; a reservoir monitoring program; water supply reliability; watershed assessment; project management; and deliverable creation involving a GIS database, CAD files, a digital terrain model, updated stage-storage curves, and reservoir storage analysis.
