Executive Recruitment Services

The government authority in Albany, OR requires a vendor to provide executive recruitment services to conduct a national executive search for a new Police Chief. The selected vendor must begin services immediately upon contract execution and develop a recruitment plan, timeline, candidate profile, selection criteria, and advertising materials after meeting with the City Manager and Deputy City Manager. Responsibilities include handling all advertising, contacting stakeholder-nominated candidates, conducting outreach to a diverse candidate pool while maintaining confidentiality, accepting and screening applications, and managing correspondence with unsuccessful applicants. The vendor will recommend a pool of no more than four diverse, highly qualified candidates, coordinate and schedule interviews, guide final candidates through the process, and have a representative present on site during final candidate interviews. Eligibility is restricted to USA organizations, and the vendor performs the work offsite. The buyer requests budget proposals within the submissions. Bidders must submit all questions no later than September 1, 2026.
