Accelerator Operator Service

The City of Irvine, CA seeks a vendor to provide accelerator operator services for a one-year contract period. The selected operator must manage day-to-day operations for an approximate 25,000-agency footprint based on the City's preliminary space plan. The buyer requires specialized programming and resources targeting healthcare innovation, enabling and creative technologies, climate transition and decarbonization technologies, and aerospace and next-generation defense technologies. Key operational duties include executing tenant, membership, and programming strategies; coordinating events, mentoring, and investor engagement; building partnerships with universities, industry groups, and capital providers; overseeing customer experience and community activation; maintaining a financially disciplined operating model; and coordinating with the City on reporting and strategic objectives. Eligible bidders must be onshore USA organizations. The scope requires work performed both onsite and offsite. The buyer requires proposals to establish the budget. The buyer will hold a pre-bid meeting on September 3, 2026, and sets a deadline for all questions no later than September 8, 2026.
