The State of Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Special Investigations Department requires a licensed, bonded, and insured national private investigative firm to perform offsite preliminary investigations and surveillance operations across the United States, excluding the State of Ohio. The vendor must focus on claimants receiving Ohio Workers’ Compensation benefits while allegedly working another job. The buyer restricts eligibility to onshore USA organizations and prohibits subcontracting work to outside vendors. Suppliers must demonstrate proven experience and the ability to conduct surveillance in four- or eight-hour increments. The buyer requests proposals detailing flat fees, hourly rates, or fee schedules for traditional surveillance, remote unmanned surveillance per day, mileage, travel hours, investigation report pages, and media copies. Questions are due by September 2, 2026. Bidders must submit quotes by September 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The estimated contract runs from November 2, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with options for four one-year renewals.
