Yard Waste Transportation and Composting Services

The government authority in Lexington, KY requires a vendor to deliver yard waste transportation and composting services. The selected contractor must load and transport materials from agency-designated temporary sites. Additionally, the vendor must supply all labor, materials, equipment, operational and environmental plans, site security, utilities, office space, fuel, and sanitary facilities. The contractor must perform daily sampling, record and report compost processing data, and submit monthly and annual operating summaries to the agency. To comply with local, state, and federal laws, the vendor must conduct all temperature and product quality testing to produce a safe, homogeneous, and marketable product free of foreign materials, while retaining 500 tons of final compost for agency use. This onsite work is restricted to onshore USA organizations only. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget. Bidders must attend a pre-bid meeting on September 4, 2026, and submit all questions no later than September 11, 2026.
