The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) seeks a contractor to deliver a strategic cluster value chain analysis service. The contractor creates a source-supported, establishment-level inventory of businesses and economic assets for automotive manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, and energy and grid components. The contractor classifies assets by value-chain function, capabilities, technologies, markets, geography, and participation status. The vendor also documents principal value chains, Michigan participants, dependencies, and cross-cluster or transferable capabilities, producing standardized, analysis-ready datasets, taxonomies, crosswalks, and documentation over a two-month period. MEDC conducts subsequent strategic analyses and determines priority opportunities and interventions. Only USA onshore organizations qualify for this offsite work.
