Janitorial Service

The Alabama Department of Public Health requires a United States-based vendor to provide onshore, onsite janitorial services at its facility in Alabama. The scope of work includes emptying trash and sanitary napkin receptacles, replacing trash liners, vacuuming carpets and mats, cleaning and polishing drinking fountains and mirrors, and dusting horizontal and vertical surfaces of furniture and furnishings. The contractor must damp wipe break room tables, chairs, counters, appliance exteriors, and sinks while checking surrounding walls and cabinets for spills. Additional duties entail dust mopping and damp mopping hard surface floors into corners, along edges, and under furniture. The vendor must remove fingerprints and marks from light switches and doorframes using disinfectant and color-coded microfiber cloths, and restock towels, tissue, and soap. The buyer furnishes the trash liners and restock supplies, is seeking proposals to establish the budget, and provides no key dates or evaluation criteria.
