Trash and Recycling Services

The California Department of Transportation requires trash pick-up, transport, and disposal services per location in San Bernardino County. The selected vendor must supply two 10-cubic yard roll-off bins for general trash and debris and two 3-cubic yard bins for recyclable materials. The vendor must perform onsite weekday pick-ups between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., excluding designated State legal holidays, and dispose of materials including tires, metal, plastic, fiberglass, fabric, glass, asphalt, dirt, concrete, wood, and landscape trimmings. The buyer accepts proposals for the budget and requires vendors to be USA organizations. The buyer encourages Small Business (SB), Micro Business (MB), and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation. Certified SBs, MBs, or vendors committing to subcontract at least 25% of their net price to certified SBs or MBs are encouraged to bid; however, SB Public Works certification does not count toward the 25% goal. A DVBE incentive applies. Bidders must submit all questions by September 17, 2026.
