Emergency Medical Dispatch Services

The buyer requires a USA-based vendor to provide offsite emergency medical dispatch services for a three-year contract period. The selected vendor must implement and operate standardized medical call interrogation, triage, post-dispatch instructions, pre-arrival instructions, and determinant-based priority dispatch. The vendor must integrate ProQA and EMD software with County CAD, telephony, and radio systems, while ensuring timely data transmission to EMS provider dispatch centers. To qualify, the vendor must operate a State-approved dispatch center capable of processing 9-1-1 medical calls and supporting system status monitoring. All call-takers must hold valid certifications and complete required continuing dispatch education. Daily responsibilities include managing EMD operations, quality assurance reviews, reporting, and compliance with county policies.
