Language Translation and Interpretation Services

The city requires a vendor to provide on-demand, 24x7x365 language translation and interpretation services for one year. The buyer requests in-person, video remote, and telephonic interpretation for approximately 275 city council meetings and 50–100 board and commission meetings annually. The vendor must translate at least 200 documents per year, such as applications, forms, flyers, brochures, signage, and notices. At a minimum, the buyer mandates service offerings in Arabic, Bengali, Braille, French, and Latin American Spanish with dialect variations, alongside broader language options for commonly spoken national languages. Native tongue speakers must primarily staff the telephonic interpretation via a toll-free number and access code.
