In-Person Sign Language Interpreting Services

The buyer requires a USA-based vendor to provide in-person sign language interpreting services for deaf or hard-of-hearing students within the educational setting. The selected vendor must supply qualified interpreters for two positions during the regular school day for the entire contracted service period. The scope includes interpreting for classroom instruction, educational activities, school meetings, assemblies, field trips, extracurricular activities, and other school-related events. The vendor must maintain a process to furnish qualified substitute interpreters when assigned staff are unavailable. Furthermore, the vendor must maintain service documentation, comply with all applicable laws and County Schools policies, and identify any professional development, supervision, or quality-assurance procedures provided to interpreters. Interpreters must collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, students, and families. The buyer seeks proposals for the budget, and bidders must submit all questions no later than September 18, 2026.
