General Custodial Services

Sarasota County seeks a contractor to provide general custodial services in Siesta Key Village. The requested scope includes cleaning and sanitizing trash containers, recycling containers, ashtrays, benches, bike racks, map kiosks, and water fountains. Duties also involve replacing container liners, collecting loose litter and debris, maintaining the gazebo area, and replacing map kiosk light bulbs. Eligible bidders must be onshore USA organizations and provide at least two references showing experience with similar custodial services under contracts valued at $100,000.00 or more annually within the past seven years. Bidders formed as joint ventures or partnerships engaging in construction contracting must register with Florida regulatory agencies prior to the bid due date. Bidders must upload required forms, questionnaires, and a completed pricing table electronically via the OpenGov portal. A pre-proposal meeting takes place on October 8, 2026, and all questions or substitution requests must be submitted through OpenGov by October 13, 2026. Sarasota County will evaluate proposals to award the contract to the responsive and responsible bidder that submits the lowest total bid price.
