Special and Conflict Counsel Services

The Borough of Fort Lee needs special and conflict counsel services performed onsite as needed during 2027. Bidders must demonstrate the capability and willingness to provide high-quality professional legal services, confirm appropriate federal and state licenses, submit a Business Registration Certificate, and show compliance with applicable affirmative action requirements. Only onshore USA organizations are eligible to bid. Bidders must submit an original and two bound copies of their signed Qualification Statement by mail or hand delivery to the Designated Contact Person. The Borough must receive submissions no later than 4:00 p.m. on October 16, 2026, and will reject facsimile or email submissions. Qualification Statements must include an executed Letter of Qualification, an executed Letter of Intent, a description of past experience, and an explanation of its relevance. The Borough evaluates Qualification Statements based on experience and reputation in the field, availability to accommodate required meetings, and a cost proposal to determine the most advantageous bidder. Criteria weightings will be provided to all respondents after receipt but prior to the public opening. The solicitation document does not state a budget or pre-bid question deadlines.
