Real Estate Appraiser Services

The Borough of Kenilworth requests qualifications to retain a 2027 Real Estate Appraiser. The selected contractor will provide real estate appraisal services, offer appraisal support for tax appeals, acquisitions, dispositions, redevelopment, litigation, and other municipal real estate matters, and attend required meetings, inspections, hearings, and proceedings to offer expert testimony. US organizations are eligible to bid, but prospective respondents must comply with New Jersey Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action rules. Respondents must enclose sealed submissions in a package labeled "2027 Real Estate Appraiser RFQ" and submit them to the Office of the Qualified Purchasing Agent in Kenilworth, New Jersey, by Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The Borough will evaluate submissions using non-weighted criteria including minimum requirements satisfaction, personnel qualifications, relevant experience, cost considerations, experience with New Jersey governmental entities, municipal appraisal experience, MAI designation, state licensure, tax-appeal valuation expertise, and expert-witness experience. The anticipated contract term begins no earlier than January 1, 2027, and terminates no later than December 31, 2027. Respondents must include a complete schedule of proposed compensation detailing hourly rates, retainers, or flat fees.
