Planning Board Planner Services

The Borough of Kenilworth seeks professional planning and technical administrative consulting services for its Planning Board and Board of Adjustment. The selected vendor must prepare planning documents, review applications, attend board meetings, advise staff, coordinate with government agencies, and perform work offsite at their own office. Only USA-based organizations are eligible to bid. Respondents must possess required New Jersey planning licenses, at least 10 years of professional planning experience, and 10 years of experience serving New Jersey municipalities or planning boards. Vendors must submit sealed qualifications enclosed in a package labeled "2027 Planning Board Planner RFQ" to the Office of the Qualified Purchasing Agent by Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The Borough will evaluate responsive submissions based on non-weighted criteria, including minimum requirements, individual qualifications, references, location, and cost considerations. Vendors must include a schedule of proposed compensation covering hourly rates, retainers, or flat fees. The contract term commences no earlier than January 1, 2027, and terminates no later than December 31, 2027.
