Traffic Safety Program Consultant Services

Orange County, New York, seeks a consultant to deliver services for the Orange County Traffic Safety Program funded by the New York State Governor’s Traffic Safety Grant. The selected vendor must fund and maintain five part-time traffic safety educators, manage public media campaigns, collaborate with local partners, assist schools, and deliver specialized child passenger and motorcycle safety initiatives. Onsite performance is required in the United States for a contract term of one year. Eligibility is restricted to onshore USA entities. Offerors must submit a completed Response to RFQ Form, a business history with staff qualifications, a service delivery plan, and three client references digitally via email to Robert Doss by October 8, 2026, at 4:45 PM. Written questions must be emailed by October 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM. An evaluation committee will score submissions based on criteria including traffic safety program training, experience operating school programs, administration of similar grant funds, and references. The budget for operating costs will be set in the contract and cannot exceed appropriated grant funds.
