Public Safety Classification and Compensation Plan Services

The Town of Apex, North Carolina needs a qualified vendor to provide public safety classification and compensation plan services for its police, fire, and designated communications/911 positions. The selected consultant must evaluate covered positions, review and update job descriptions, analyze current compensation structures, and assess internal equity, pay compression, recruitment, and retention. Additionally, the vendor must evaluate hiring and promotional salary practices and recommend appropriate classification changes and market-based pay ranges. Eligible applicants are limited to US-based onshore organizations that specialize in local government compensation systems, specifically for police and fire departments. Vendors must perform the requested scope of work offsite.
