Municipal Prosecutor Services

The Township of Cherry Hill is seeking proposals from law firms and attorneys to serve as Chief Municipal Prosecutor, Municipal Prosecutor(s), and/or Substitute/Conflict Municipal Prosecutor(s) for the 2027 calendar year. The selected vendor must provide municipal prosecutor services onsite in Cherry Hill, NJ. Responsibilities include attending scheduled court sessions, providing legal counsel, conducting prosecutions, managing discovery, handling pretrial and post-trial hearings, preparing witnesses, and performing related legal duties directed by the chief municipal prosecutor or township municipal attorney. Eligible applicants include onshore USA-only vendors, law firms, and attorneys. Proposals must be submitted digitally via email or online, or via sealed hard copies with a flash drive containing a PDF of the response to Patti Chacker, Township Clerk, by 11:00 A.M. prevailing time on November 6, 2026. Required submittals include an Acknowledgement of Receipt of Addenda, Proposal Acknowledge Page, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Ownership Disclosure Statement, EEO/Affirmative Action documents, a NJ Business Registration Certificate, C. 271 Political Contribution Disclosure Form, and relevant certifications and affidavits. Awarded vendors must also provide proof of professional liability insurance naming the Township as additionally insured.
