Workers Compensation Litigation Consultant Services

The Garden State Municipal Joint Insurance Fund seeks a vendor to serve as a Workers' Compensation Litigation Consultant for the 2027 calendar year commencing January 1, 2027. The selected vendor must assist in evaluating and hiring claims defense attorneys, conduct periodic file reviews, provide legal guidance and periodic bulletins to the Claims Administrator, and attend scheduled Fund Commissioner meetings. The work will be performed offsite from the vendor's office premises. Eligible applicants must be USA organizations and licensed attorneys in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar. Applicants must possess at least seven years of experience as Defense Counsel for a New Jersey Joint Insurance Fund. Proposals must include contact information, an hourly fee proposal, executive summary, resume details, resource descriptions, New Jersey presence, SBE registration status, references, and identified conflicts of interest. The Fund evaluates proposals based on the vendor's general approach, documented experience, staff qualifications, and ability to perform services within the required timeline.
