Creative Public Realm Landscape Coordinator Service

Stamford Downtown seeks an independent contractor to serve as a Public Realm Landscape Coordinator for its streetscape and beautification program in Stamford, CT. The selected vendor will design, manage, and maintain over 300 hanging flower baskets, eighty ground planters, sixteen landscaped areas across nine open spaces, green infrastructure, and urban forestry initiatives. Primary responsibilities include managing procurement and schedules, overseeing vendors, volunteers, and staff, supervising daily maintenance, and coordinating with the City of Stamford Parks Department. Eligibility is restricted to USA-based onshore applicants with relevant horticultural, landscape design, or project management experience, a valid driver's license, and vehicle access. The anticipated contract term covers approximately 600 hours annually across 36 weeks, with an hourly rate to be negotiated based on qualifications.
