Traffic Engineer Services

The City of Imperial Beach needs a consultant firm to provide traffic engineer services, including traffic impact studies, operations analysis, signal design and timing, speed surveys, accident report reviews, traffic calming, and bicycle facility design. Onsite performance is required in Imperial Beach, California, and the selected consultant must handle utility reviews, plans, and peer reviews. Eligible USA-based vendor firms must include California-registered Traffic and Civil Engineers and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. Submissions must include a cover, table of contents, cover letter, qualifications and experience, staffing plan with resumes, task/deliverables protocol, insurance details, and a separate sealed envelope with a Schedule of Rates. Selected vendors must maintain $2 million in public liability and property damage insurance, alongside professional liability coverage of $2 million per claim and $4 million aggregate.
