Laboratory Support Services

The Township of Berkeley Heights requires qualified individuals or firms to provide on-call laboratory support services for the Township Water Pollution Control Plant. Work must be performed on-site at the local municipal wastewater treatment facility in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Eligible US-based proposers must possess valid NJDEP S3 and C2 licenses, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience providing on-call wastewater treatment laboratory support services. Interested parties must submit an original and one signed copy of their complete technical proposal, including evidence of personnel qualifications, past experience from the last five years, a signature page, an Affirmative Action Statement, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, an Owner Disclosure Statement, an Affidavit of No Conflict of Interest, an Affidavit of Contribution Statement, and the RFQ checklist. Applicants must address proposals to Angela Lazzari, Township Clerk, and deliver them by 10:00 A.M. on October 30, 2026. The Township will evaluate proposals based on the relevance of personnel qualifications and experience, resource availability, and cost proposal reasonableness. The contract term runs for one year, from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with the budget determined by the submitted cost proposals.
