Security Guard Services

The University of Waterloo requires a vendor to provide fully-trained security guards for its site in Waterloo, Ontario. The selected vendor must deliver high-visibility deterrent presence, complete fire and security checks during patrols, monitor alarm systems, and log all duty rounds, observations, incidents, and visitors. Onsite service performance takes place under a one-year contract term. Eligible biddings are restricted to onshore entities within Canada. Prospective suppliers must attend a mandatory site visit on October 14, 2026, and submit all questions by October 21, 2026. Bidders must electronically upload their proposals, statutory forms, references, insurance certificates, and Canadian-dollar bid forms through the Euna Public Portal by 14:30:00 on November 2, 2026. The evaluation committee will rank complete submissions meeting all requirements and may develop a shortlist of top-scoring respondents.
