Scope of work

- Assisting Probation and the Public Defender when needed

Minimum qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of interpreter experience in a court or public setting
- Certified Court Interpreter licensing designation as a Spanish interpreter issued by the Georgia Commission on Interpreters
- Valid Georgia Class C driver license
- Strong command of English and Spanish, including legal terminology, formal dialogue, casual dialogue, and slang
- Ability to translate simultaneously at speaking rates of 200 words or more per minute
- Must undergo a criminal background check performed by the City of Winder Police Department
