City Prosecutor Services for the Municipal Court

The City of Winder, Georgia, seeks qualified attorneys to serve as the City Prosecutor for the Winder Municipal Court. The scope of work involves performing legal work to prosecute suspects in misdemeanor criminal cases under the jurisdiction of the City Charter, ordinances, and Georgia State Statutes, as well as participating in administrative and research functions in civil areas when directed. Eligible applicants must be onshore USA organizations with minimum qualifications including a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school, a license to practice law in Georgia, membership in the Georgia State Bar Association, and three years of experience as a practicing attorney. The contract term is one year, with options to renew for four additional one-year terms upon agreement. Applicants must submit an original proposal package and two copies in person or by mail. Required materials include proof of professional liability insurance coverage, proposed terms and conditions, a fee schedule for additional time, completed proposal sheets, signed affidavits, and identified subcontractors. Proposals are evaluated on experience in comparable engagements, expertise, and availability of key personnel, with finalists invited for interviews.
