Executive Search Services for Superintendent

The Board of Education of Montezuma-Cortez School District RE-1 seeks executive search services from qualified firms to recruit and select a permanent Superintendent. Scope of work includes planning the search timeline, facilitating stakeholder input, drafting a leadership profile, advertising nationally, screening applicants, assisting with interviews, keeping records confidential, and providing a placement guarantee if the appointee leaves within a specified period. Proposals are evaluated based on experience and record with comparable K-12 searches, search approach, team qualifications, stakeholder engagement plan, search timeline, and cost and overall value (20 points). Proposers must submit a fee proposal detailing a fixed professional fee, itemized reimbursable expenses, and payment schedules, with submitted proposals remaining valid for 90 calendar days.
