Risk Management Consultant Service

The Hamilton Township Municipal Utilities Authority (HTMUA) in Mays Landing, New Jersey, is soliciting statements of qualifications for a Risk Management Consultant Service under a fair and open process. The selected consultant must perform risk management services required by the bylaws of the New Jersey Municipal Joint Insurance Fund and Municipal Excess Liability Joint Insurance Fund, including assisting with annual insurance budgets and reviewing certificates of insurance. Eligible applicants must be USA onshore organizations, possess at least five years of risk management consulting experience with a municipal or governmental joint insurance fund, and hold an active New Jersey insurance agent license. Applicants must submit statements of qualification to the HTMUA Executive Director by 10:00 AM on November 18, 2026. Submissions must include designated primary and backup staff resumes, professional references, business addresses, key equipment and software details, an Affirmative Action questionnaire, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, and an Ownership Disclosure Form. HTMUA evaluates proposals based on history, experience, reputation, personnel qualifications, and availability for meetings. The contract term is one year, with compensation set by fund-promulgated rates, brokerage commissions for outside policies, and a negotiated hourly fee for extra services.
