Metagenomics and Transcriptomic Services

The government authority located in Lansing, Michigan, needs a contractor to provide shotgun metagenomics sequencing, whole genome sequencing, RNA sequencing, demultiplexed and raw sequencing data, and bioinformatics assistance. The contractor must also deliver consultation services for experimental design, answers to technical sequencing questions, and a web-based LIMS system that allows the USGS to upload sample information. The government contemplates awarding a single firm-fixed-price Blanket Purchase Agreement resulting from this solicitation. This procurement is set aside for total small businesses, and eligible offerors must be onshore USA organizations. The government will evaluate proposals based on Factor I (Past Performance and Customer Representation) and Factor II (Product and Product Availability), with combined technical and past performance factors being more important than price.
