Applications for Apprenticeship On-The-Job Training Grants Service

The County of Somerset in New Jersey is soliciting applications for the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board Work Experience & Training Programs Apprenticeship On-the-Job Training Grants. Funded by grants from the New Jersey Department of Labor, the program aims to provide an affordable pathway to secure well-paying careers, strengthen skills through structured on-the-job training with experienced mentors, and enhance retention for sustainable career advancement. Only USA onshore organizations are eligible to apply, and performance of the work will take place offsite. Applicants must comply with New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, mandatory EEO/affirmative action requirements, and maintain required Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Errors and Omissions insurance coverage. Applicants must submit sealed responses on the provided standard proposal forms in a package marked with the title and contract number CY-COM-0113-27S. Submissions must reach Melissa A. Kosensky, Purchasing Agent, at the County Administration Building in Somerville, NJ, by 2:00 P.M. on November 5, 2026.
