Daily In and Out-Of-District Transportation Service

The Fremont School District seeks qualified student transportation providers to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient daily in-district and out-of-district transportation for students in Preschool through Grade 12. Eligible services support students whose IEPs, Section 504 plans, or school placements require District-arranged transportation, including out-of-district programs and extended school year services. The scope requires vendors to supply equipped vehicles, qualified drivers, monitors, routing, dispatch coverage, required safety equipment, and routine reporting to the District. Participation is open to onshore USA transportation providers that maintain required registrations, permits, inspections, and insurance. Vendors must attend a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on October 23, 2026. The initial contract term runs from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2030, with an option for two additional one-year extensions. The District will evaluate proposals based on overall value, safety, reliability, service capacity, responsiveness, experience, and cost. Vendors must submit pricing proposals, maintain $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate commercial general liability insurance, and name the District as an additional insured.
