Youth Employment Program

The City of Somerville, Massachusetts seeks a vendor to deliver a offsite Youth Employment Program that provides career development, skill building, recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision for at least 5 to 15 local youth. The vendor must employ participants for at least 8 hours weekly over 20 weeks—totalling 160 hours—pay the current living wage, and track detailed participant data and hours worked. Only onshore USA organizations are eligible to apply. Proposers must submit one sealed package containing separate sealed technical and price envelopes, a signed cover letter, qualifications, three references, and all required forms from the Proposers Checklist on 8.5 x 11 inch paper in 12-point font. The estimated initial contract runs from December 1, 2026, to June 1, 2027, with two optional one-year renewals.
