Real Estate Appraisal Services

The City of Nacogdoches is issuing RFQ #27-10-105 to select a qualified firm to provide real estate appraisal services on an as-needed basis for one year, with a potential renewal for the following fiscal year. The selected contractor must determine appraised values of City-owned properties in Nacogdoches City and County, supply appraisal reviews, deliver cost estimates within two business days, disclose conflicts of interest, draft appraisals within 30 calendar days, and deliver final reports within two business days of notice. Work will be performed on-site in Nacogdoches, TX. Eligibility is limited to USA-based firms with substantial real estate appraisal experience. Submissions must include any proposed changes to the Standard Form of Agreement and may require a notarized Texas Ethics Commission Form 1295 upon contract signing. Questions are due by October 27, 2026. Statements of qualifications must be delivered to the City Finance Department by November 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Evaluators will score submissions up to 100 points based on firm experience (30 points), key personnel qualifications (30 points), methodology (20 points), schedule strategies (10 points), and references (10 points). Finalist presentations or interviews may be required. Proposers must submit a budget proposal, though price is not the sole determining factor.
