Small Business Technical Assistance Services

The University of California, Merced requires an eligible United States organization to host, establish, manage, and operate a Small Business Development Center providing technical assistance services offsite in Monterey and San Benito Counties. The required scope includes one-on-one business advising, training, capital access assistance, business research, and support focusing on areas such as business planning, financial management, procurement, technology, marketing, and operations. Applicants must register and submit proposals digitally via email, online, or through the University CalUSource Portal. A pre-bid proposer conference takes place on October 23, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by October 30, 2026. An evaluation committee evaluates proposals based on criteria including the proposer profile, understanding of SBDC requirements, personnel background and experience, service delivery plan, and management structure.
