Municipal Planning and Township Planner Professional Services

The Township of Florence needs a municipal consultant and board planner to provide professional planning services. Eligible applicants are New Jersey licensed firms located in the USA with at least 10 years of experience in all aspects of municipal planning, including work with the MLUL, COAH, and Master Plans. Additionally, the primarily assigned individual must possess at least five years of experience as a municipal consultant or planning board planner. Applicants must submit one thumb drive containing PDF documents and six original paper submittals in a sealed envelope to the Township Clerk by 10:00 AM on November 12, 2026. Required submission materials include an explanation of minimum qualifications, three local government references, the identified primary planner, a compensation proposal, a Business Registration Certificate, a Certificate of Employee Information Reporting, a Certificate of Insurance, and a Disclosure of Investment Activities with Iran. The buyer will evaluate submittals using an RFQ to secure high-quality services and an RFP to determine if proposed fees are fair and reasonable. The contract term is one year.
