Calhoun County RFP for Household Hazardous Waste Collection and Disposal Services

Calhoun County requires a vendor to provide household hazardous waste services for on-site collection activities in Marshall, Michigan. Scope of work includes screening participants, unloading materials, classifying and segregating wastes, preparing manifests, transporting collected waste, and managing proper processing, recycling, and disposal. Events exclude latex paint, explosives, ammunition, biologically active material, asbestos, smoke detectors, radioactive waste, and all consumer or commercial electronics. The contract term is one year. Only USA organizations registered under Commodity Service Codes 92645 or 95896 on Bidnet Direct powered by Sovra are eligible to bid. Proposals must include current insurance certificates. Questions are due via Bidnet Direct by November 2, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST, and complete proposals must be submitted digitally through Bidnet Direct by November 11, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the responsible proposer whose conforming proposal is most advantageous to the County, considering price and other evaluation factors.
